Director & Owner
Director of Little Beats Miami Christy Espinel is a Miami native that has grown up surrounded by music and Hispanic heritage. She started choral singing at a young age and participated in various national choral ensembles and assemblies. Shifting her sights to Music Theater as a young adult, her love of expression through music only grew.
She was chosen to attend the New World School of the Arts College where she participated in various productions. As an adult, Christy gained a passion for early childhood education through music. Her accomplishments in the field include becoming a certified Music Together teacher and even recently achieving the “Master Teacher” level with the Canta y Baila Conmigo program. She has taught countless families in the South Miami area for almost 17 years and continues to enjoy her long-lasting relationships with all the families lucky enough to find a spot in her classes.
Kadhine B. (Ms. K) is an educator, singer, and actress born and raised in Miami, FL. She received a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of South Florida (2011) and a Master of Science in Music Education from Florida International University (2016). Kadhine has been a public school music teacher since 2011, teaching students from early childhood all the way to high school. Kadhine won Teacher of the Year in 2015 and 2019. In 2015, she received training and certification from Music Will (formerly known as Little Kids Rock), a non-profit music education advocacy organization that helps to promote music education throughout the country.
In 2020, Kadhine began her journey as an online instructor and has enjoyed teaching students in a virtual setting. Kadhine also maintains an active private music studio for voice, piano, and guitar where she teaches students of all ages (adults included). In 2023, Kadhine received training and certification in the parent and me music program “Canta y Baila Conmigo”, a Spanish-language immersion music curriculum for parents and their children ages 0-5 years old. When not teaching or performing, Kadhine enjoys spending quality time with her husband and 2 children.
Ms. Ailed is a Cuban clarinetist, music educator, and music therapist, and a proud graduate of the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havana. Over the years, she has built an extensive professional experience in Miami, working as a Music Therapist with children with ASD and ADHD, and as a General Music Teacher in various academies and enrichment programs.
As a dedicated member of Little Beats Miami, she is passionate about using music as a bridge for learning, connection, and growth. My teaching approach blends education and therapy to create engaging, inclusive lessons that nurture each child’s emotional, physical, and social development.
Through instruments like the piano, clarinet, and more, she loves introducing students to the beauty of diverse musical styles and helping them discover their own rhythm and voice
